We call them 10mm Histo rical Replicas The actual scale of these buildings is "N" in railroad modeling terms. For those of you who do not know what that equates to, the measurement of the correct size figures would be 10mm - 12mm. To give you a better idea, the average height of a 1-story building is about 1-1/2 inches tall. The footprint (length and depth) of a small 1 -story house would be about 1-7/8 x 1-3/8. A 2-story house stands about 2 inches high. Our barns footprint is about 3 x 2-1/2 inches, but may vary depending on additions and banks. These buildings are made with wargamers in mind, so we say that they are in the 10mm range of miniature figures. Also, Some people who game in 15mm prefer to use these smaller buildings so that they do not take up so much room on their gaming table. You can see some pictures with miniatures figures next to the buildings to get an idea of the size. These are not exact scale models, but very close. Some effort was made to make a smaller footprint for some of the buildings so that they do not take up as much room.
